Sentimental Reads
"I'll love you forever, I'll like you for always"
As I sat down next to my baby in his bouncy chair, I looked into his bin of books and picked out our daily read. My son will be 3 months old in a few days, so he really doesn't pay attention to our reading date.
I chose a book that his great, great - aunt gave him for Christmas. It's called "Love You Forever" by, Robert Munsch.
I began to read, and he kicked his little feet and moved his little arms as he always does. I read page one, then page two and began to read page three. My eyes started to fill with tears and my heart was warm with love and pain. How can a book be so sad yet so beautiful. I will not ruin the story but I will quote the most beautiful words the mother says to her baby boy.
"I'll love you forever,
I'll like you for always,
As long as I'm living
my baby you'll be."
In my personal opinion, no other book compares to this one, however, I have a list of a few other books that have sentimental value!
Educational Reads
When it comes to your child's education, there is no better time to start than in the beginning. Reading educational books to your baby is a profoundly beneficial practice that contributes to their overall development. It creates language development, cognitive development and helps with bonding and social interactions.

Spiritual Reads
As a woman of God, I believe it is important to introduce bible stories and verses and Gods love to your little one. I have always known and loved God and I want my little baby boy to know how great Gods love is.

A beautiful book to start out your babies spiritual book collection is a book called Bible Blessings for your Baby Boy. This book includes, 50 scriptures and prayers to read to your baby. And lastly, I absolutely love God Made You Wonderful! By Kat Stano. It is a recordable storybook- it allows you to read to your baby even when you are not able to be there.
